I totally love this pen! It writes so well! For a fine point, its juicy! No hesitation with starting to write. Because this style of hooded nib is my first, I wasn't sure how it would perform, but I find it lays down a smooth and satisfying wet line from the first stroke. The ink, I also purchased, Wearinguel, Frankenstein may be an added benefit of how beautifully it responds: a deep crisp purple/black with a bit of sparkle. I also love the magnetic feature of the cap, when opening and closing. It was a pleasure shopping at Penchetta while on vacation in AZ, (a highlight of my trip) I definitely will be back, if not in person online for sure.

I love this ink! So much like James Bond. It's fun to write notes to people and they have to use a UV light to read them. So fun!!!

I am always afraid to purchase a pre-loved pen from anywhere other than a trusted pen shop. I have purchased from Penchetta before, so I was confident that they would handle consignment pens with integrity and care. So when I found this Waterman with a gold nib that I liked, I bought it!
