Montegrappa, a proud symbol of Italian style, design and creativity, pays homage to creative geniuses throughout human history with the Genio Creativo limited edition collection. The second Genio Creativo edition once again celebrates the unique and precious talent of a great Italian: Amedeo Modigliani, a man whose famous portraits revealed the true essence of the soul. The creative features of this new collection evoke Modigliani’s portraits with each detail: the barrel and cap are oval like his faces, the clip is long and asymmetrical like his noses, and the cap ring has the typical irregular shape of his models’ lips. As in the previous Genio Creativo collection, the cap top is decorated with the Montegrappa logo and a solitary gem, the symbol of unique genius. Refined resin, in the same deep blue color that can be found in many of his works, is used to suggest Modigliani’s strong, vibrant brush stroke. The 18K gold fountain pen nib is engraved with one of Modigliani’s famous head studies. The barrel and cap in refined, blue marbled resin are accented with precious platinum fittings. The Modgliani limited editions include a fountain pen with piston filling system, a capped rollerball and a twist-activated ball pen.
